Richmond wore our sheepskin boots around at Advanced Base Camp, while on the way up Mt Everest.

"I often climb mountains and beating the cold is always something of a mission, cold feet I find being especially uncomfortable. Knowing I was going to Everest in April/May, when I saw your sheepskin boots I thought just maybe they would be the solution. (The yaks carry to Advanced Base Camp (elevation 6400m) so the additional weight was not an issue. Above ABC I use lightweight down booties - which are not nearly as effective).
Well, now that I have returned (and successful trip it was), I can confirm that your sheepskin boots were the envy of ABC Everest. I could pad around the messtent quite comfortably down to minus 20 C, below that still being OK, but with the addition of a couple of pairs of thick socks. Greetings from Nelson, where it's standing room only in our distribution centre. Boxes of Sheepskin Boots are stacked floor to ceiling with more arriving daily. This is making our staff Pilates class ever more challenging. Your help is needed.

We realise that sheepskin boots may not be at the top of your wish list if you are in the throes of a northern hemisphere summer, however there are a few good reasons to order now. There is a worldwide shortage of sheepskin and prices are rising. We are holding our prices the same as last year for the time being. There will never be enough boots to supply everyone. We are making every effort to stock up early but we could easily run short.

We have a new design, the "spilled wool" Chloe Boot, so plush that the creamy, supersoft sheepskin, oozes out the seams.
We have the regular and tall boots available in Sand, Chestnut, and now Black.
